Innovative Treatment Alternatives, Inc. offers housing and social services in the five county Philadelphia Metropolis .

Innovative Treatment Alternatives, Inc. is a faith-based 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1992.  We offer case management, referral services, supportive housing, adult & digital literacy and employment readiness & job training.  We sponsor a Boy Scout Troop 316B.  We also sponsor and help grassroots organization develop prevention, summer and after-school activities for youth ages 6-18. 



YOUTH ACTIVITIES

Youth Activities: Supporting Youth Ages 6-18

Description:  We sponsor Crime Fighters Against Gun Violence, Inc., collaborate with the Guardian Civic League, Positive Youth Outlet, Inc. and Dean Childhood Development.  

Youth activities are designed to offer a safe and enriching environment for children aged 6-18.  Youth have access to the computer lab to help them complete homework assignments.

Crime Fighters Against Gun Violence and ITA are sponsoring five (5) youths, (boys or girls), age twelve, 12, and older to join Scouts of America. One parent or guardian must be actively involved in parent and child Scouting activities.  Take advantage of all the Scouts of America have to offer.    Scouts go camping, learn survival skills and learn discipline. Get your child involved this summer (2025) there is still time. 

Focus Areas: Remedial enrichment, supervised recreation, and offering a safe secure space from 3:30 to 7 PM.  Youth will have access to the indoor basketball court-Positive Youth Outlet contact Mr. Tyron Dean 215-239-8890

All youth activities take place at Holy Trinity-Bethlehem Presbyterian Church located at 1100 West Rockland Street, Philadelphia, PA 19141.  Call the church office at 215-329-3710. We need parents & volunteers who would like to help save our youths from these treacherous streets. 

All adults who work with youth must have FBI criminal history and child abuse clearance.

Senior Supportive Independent & Shared Living Environments and Older Adult Daily Living (Day Program)


Independent (SRO), Shared, and Assisted Living/ Licensed Personal Care Boarding. State of the arc housing and care designed by seniors for seniors. Seniors can age in place as they become more fragile and less dependent.  We care for people with disabilities and Seniors 65 and Older and treat them with the dignity and respect they truly deserve.  They will never have to leave the premises except for outings and hospitalizations.

The Senior day Program gives seniors who wish to stay in their homes the opportunity receive the care and support they need.  We will refer individuals to OADL providers.

This One Stop initiative reduces the need for expensive Nursing Home Placement while at the same time addressing the medical, nutritional, and social needs of the people we serve.

Our staff is a professional and caring support staff that is available round-the-clock 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Our facilities are brand new  with elevators and state of the arc plush amenities.  You must see to believe.  We have access to a golf course and nearby shopping.

Experienced Staff - We help People Help People

Our experienced staff is dedicated to serving the needs of our community, bringing expertise and passion to our non-profit organization. Pastor Lamont E. Purnell-CEO, Ms. Mary Guin-Office Manager, Mr. Kevin Thomas-Digital Instructor and Locksley McDermott-Administrative Assistant.

Bible Study-We Take a deep dive into the Word of God.  If you want to know what the Bible says and how it relates  to us today.  Join us every Saturday at 11am, light refreshments are served.

Fundraisers-We help non - profit organizations raise up to $ 3,000.00 an event.  

Consulting-We help grass roots organization get their Articles of Incorporation and complete applications for IRS and State Non-profit status

Maturity Works Program

As a Maturity Works recruiting and work site, ITA, Inc. provides seniors with opportunities to participate in paid training. 

If you are age 55 and older, your income is less than $ 1,400 a month you may qualify for this Title V program sponsored by the DOL.  Use your skills or acquire new skills and become computer literate at the same time.  

Our goal is to help seniors stay active, develop safe digital/computer skills and developing valuable skills for the workforce.

Supportive Housing Initiative

Affordable Supportive Housing Opportunities and Resources

ITA partners with Lex Properties, LLC, developers and landlords who wish to make quality affordable housing available to the people we serve.  We have access to eighty multi-family units.  ITA works with Philadelphia Housing Authority and the Office of Homeless Services Providers making adequate stable housing available. We only offer quality housing and apartment units that are new or newly renovated. The units have state of the arc amenities including stainless-steel appliances, central heating and air conditioning, security and more. We serve veterans, seniors and young adults 18-24 experiencing or facing homelessness. Supportive housing is a major part of our mission.   It helps us provide housing, resources and generate the finances ITA needs to help the community. 

We offer housing to Section 8 voucher holders and participate in various OHS projects. We house individuals, families and senior citizens. Our goal for 2025 is to house and train youth ages 18-24.

Through this initiative, we provide property management, case management, stable supportive housing, comprehensive adult literacy, life skills and job training in order to break the cycle of poverty.    Call Pastor Lamont E. Purnell @ 267-586-4911 or email: deaconpurnell@comcast.net

ITA is a COMPASS Enterprise Partner giving people the ability to apply for Cash & Medical Assistance, SNAP and LIHEAP benefits.  ITA also, has access to the PA Career Links CWDS allowing people to conduct job searches and identify training opportunities.
